Hello There!

People are always asking how we (Linda and Janice) got into this business, so I will tell you;

The first thing was our friendship: Monticello Middle School-ninth grade. We hung out off and on until we graduated from R.A. Long High School. We went our separate ways for over twenty-five years. Then met one day at the grocery store (Linda was looking for some help in her custom tile gift line, and I was looking for something to do). So an old friendship was taking on a whole new life. We were just getting the gift line going when our nation suffered a terrible tradgedy-9/11. Needless to say lots of businesses shut down during this dark time. We were one of them. But being the kind of gals that don’t quit, we started thinking about our next move. Linda had read about the “Paint your own Pottery Studios,” and we realized we had almost everything we needed to start such a business. Except the money. We did bazaars and classes at LCC until we got enough money to open ou first store on Commerce Ave. Augst 13th, 2003 (A lucky day for us). We have had a great journey thus far and have met some wonderful new friends and incredible artists.

Are we lucky? No doubt.
Are we blessed? For sure.

Thank you and God bless all of you who continue to make our artistic journey possible.
